After seeing the video sent from Trainworld about the MC2 Mobile decoders from Soundtraxx I am very interested in the speed matching abilities that they claim. Soundtrax claims these were designed to speed match effortlessly with their Soundtraxx sound decoders. Since I have six locomotives that need to be matched to Soundtraxx sound decoders this is tempting. I currently have TCS decoders in these but I have not done any speed matching yet. It does seem like a black art right now.
Does anyone have one of these decoders running with a Soundtrax sound decoder? If so do they truely speed match effortlessly. It seems one would still have to go throught the machinations of speed matching due to differences in a locomotives mechanical drivetrains.
Thanks
