Way back in the early/mid '70s MR ran an article on building an electronic throttle complete with momentum effects from scratch. I was 14 or 15 at the time, bought all the components (diodes, transistors, etc.) but never build the throttle. I was just home at my parents for Thanksgiving and found all the parts in a bag at the bottom of a box. The only thing missing was the instructions! I thought that even though it is a 30 year old, totally obsolete design it would be fun to finally put it all together. Does anyone have any idea where I would be able to get the instructions (or even an index to old MRs so I could figure out which edition of the magazine it was in, so I could at least look for that?)

I followed fiatfan’s advice and went to the master index - keyword: throttle - ascending order - page 3-5 has seventy five articles dealing with throttles running from late 1969 to 1980 - rots of ruck!!!

Thanks to both of you. I knew there was an index but could not find it. Searching the index, it turns out I am looking for the June 1975 issue, which is available as a back issue. Thanks again! Chris
