Source for hydrocal needed

Does anyone know where one can get hydrocal on larger quantites and for more reasonable prices than the little quart cartons sold by Woodland Scenics? I know it used to be available in larger bags at some building suppliers, but I’m having a hard time finding it. Any help is appreciated.

You can buy it on ebay.

You can try this place. I have never used them so not sure what the service is like.

Always best to go to the source: U.S. Gypsum. Click on “Applications” then on “Find a Distributor”.

Floor levelers sold at home improvement stores are hydrocal or similar:

I have used those two and are close enough.

A local ready-mix concrete plant may be able to help you – some of them use Hydrocal as an additive in their concrete mix. Also check with a local concrete block plant.
