That nose logo makes a lot of difference, doesn’t it? Big improvement to an already sharp paint scheme. I like the way this harkens back to an earlier era of first-gen diesels. Today’s units look just as good dressed like this.
Another sign the economy is improving, at least for the railroads.
Daniel, did anyone take a photo when you took the Chargers engine to Wichita? It would be neat if we could get a line up of all three roads with the new look, or at least a ride with the coaches with them as power.

I’m happy WATCO is finally paying attention to its image, but “SK&O” would be far more appropriate on the long hood. I know SKOL are the reporting marks, but it doesn’t have to be the railroad’s identifier. Makes me think of chewing tobacco, not a railroad. The emblem on the front looks really good, though.
