This is just a curiosity question, I saw this item on Ebay an was surprised at the starting bid. It did sell with one bid. Was this building kit that rare? Or worth that kind of money, well it was to one person. Were these superb kits?

South River Modelworks makes 1 limited production kit a year, usually retailing between $200 and $300 - then you have to build it!! Check out their web site

This is high end craftsman kit stuff. Some people just buy the kit to collect it, they never build it.

I went to the website and looked at past kits. They do definitely make a superb kit.

I learn something new everyday and sometimes more if I’m paying attention.

I’ve got the “Brick Roundhouse” with 3 additional stalls. It’ll probably take the better part of 3 months to build the damned thing! Beautiful model and the folks at SRM are wonderfully helpful.
