Southern California rail projects advanced

Due to the perpetually clogged freeways these project are very important. The newly finished freeway upgrade which flows smoothly for now will soon suffer congestion. this happens everytime.

Apparently projects which only move roughly 5% of less of daily commuters are “essential” and unclog freeways.

As one of the “5%” who do use the Metrolink system (San Bernardino Line) to get to work on weekdays, my older daughter is very happy to have an alternative to the freeway, especially since, as one writer advising visitors to the LA area said, “Rush hour on some freeways seems to extend from 6 AM to 8 PM”. What makes the San Bernardino Line special is that part of the route follows a long-ago Pacific Electric line.

Just rebuild the Pacific Electric network over the entire area would be a major hep to the LA Basin daily traveler.

Five3 percent? where did you get those figures Matthew Nichols, M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I? You don’t know squat about California except what the Goosemeister tells you.

Isn’t San Bernardino one of those California cities in financial trouble?
