Cool photograph, I’ve always liked the high nosed SP locomotives.

Thanks K&A – (or thanks on behalf of my dad, who took it).

That was my first time ever in California. SP had high nosed GEEPS and SDs on many of the locals we saw. They were grand old engines, weren’t they?
