Does anyone know when the Southern started painting “Gives a green light to innovations” on their boxcars? This is the scheme with the green paint in the center of the ‘O’ in Southern.

I know it was there by the early 1970s, because I can remember standing at trackside and watching that logo go by. So late 1960s, probably. Ask AntonioFP45 - that’s pretty close to his area of expertise.
