Southern style snow and ice driving

LOL

welcome back Flagman515.

And just what has anything in this thread to do with trains and railroading?

For railroads to continue operating at times of snow and ice - their employees must master the mechanics of bad weather driving in order to be able to report for duty or in the case of MofW and Signals - go out on the property and respond to conditions that need repair.

And railfans might want to drive down to the tracks to photograph trains in the snow.

Plus the intermodal drayage carriers have to keep getting through regardless of the weather.
