Does anyone make a complete commercially available SP style Mars lights for the USA GP-9? I see a great example of an SP geep w/full light package on the DEC 2010 of GR.
I am hoping for a G-scale equivalent of what “Details West” makes for HO scale Geeps…

DEC 2010 was our RR, the Somerville & St. Francis River Railway and unfortuately no comercial parts are available. Ozark do make a casting an SP single red warning style signal light, the round version, but that is unfortunately the only thing around to help us SP fans!
I gently cut off the original light casting using a razor saw and moved that slightly down the nose. The rest was all done using evergreen styrene pieces. Its a rough aproximation of the real thing, its not museum quality, but once the loco was weathered down I was quite happy with the results.
