My current project is to transfer to digital all dad’s slides and negatives taken in the 50’s & 60’s, in one poorly exposed shot of a yet to be identified SP RSD5 in modified Black Widow and assigned to helper service ( the caboose it’s pushing against is interesting too, it has silver paint on the ends and step assemblies) I detected something protruding above the stock headlight on the long hood, a few minutes with Photo Shop revealed that a cast away barrel mars lights had been retrofitted, it too had the marker lights raised on brackets and the indicator boards moved forward, first time i’ve seen that application on an ALCO. You discover something new everyday.
