Tom, I don’t think even with your vast arsenal of vehicles, that you can top the ugliness of this Beemer[:0]!!! Poor sailor[:D][:D] (click on pix to enlarge)
Jon, you may have me with that one.
I did look at that car and was going to get it after Christmas.
How is this

[:0][:0][:0]How’d you do that??? I want one!!![:D]
Jon, That’s a Franklin Mint ‘59 Ford Hard Top Convertible. The trunk opens up and the top folds down into it, just like the 1:1 did.
Tom, I don’t think Jon was refering to the Ford.
…I know Vergun would want the guy’s date…(wink)
Jon, How’s it going? I just wanted to let you know that I am still running the Lionel milk car that you gave to me. Did you quit the OGR forum? Haven’t seen you around there for a while. I come over here every so often and look around. Mostly lurk though, as evidenced by my number of posts.
Looks like McDonald’s Big Mac is looking for Wendy’s Hot and Juicy.[:0]
ALFRED!!! You Sea-Going-Rascal!! Great to hear from you and I hope the family is well!! Enjoy the Milkcar!! And I’m proud of your service to our country. I’m still with the 1/185th AVBAT and look forward to doing my part as well. I hope you are home for the Holidays! You made my day!! God Bless you, you swabbie!!! Jon
Hobo wins Duda’s “Post of the Day”! Magnificent!!!
The small car in the picture is BMW’s (Yes a BMW isetta!!) return to the market in the 50’s last century…
It’s basicly a motorbike in an egg shaped jacket.
In Europe we didn’t have those huge v8 powered automatic gear shifting cars with fins…
we had isetta’s, cinquecento’s, mini coopers, austin a35’s and daffodils…
They where all in backpack-size and if you had seatbelts, you where warned not to use them, since the car would stuck on your back when getting out forgetting to unlock the seatbelt…
Spankybird: where did you get the model of the Ford Skyliner. I love it. Dave Roxin.
Dave - The Skyliner is 1/43 Franklin Mint car. I got mine from directly from Franklin Mint. The trunk lid opens and the hard top fold down into it. The engine hood also opens and has a very detailed 392 engine in it. I believe the price was around $55.00

Tom,
Where did you get all those make out people?
Laz 57
Jim D,
Agreed, I can live out all my fantasies in the convertible at McD’s, and get chow too. Paradise!
Daan – I remember seeing the MBW Isetta back in the ‘50’s
BTW we also have a Mini Copper.
Laz 57 – the people are from Arttista. You can order them direct from them or Scenic Express also carries them now.
I just checked the franklin mint web site and they do not show it. Must be out of production. That is one neat car in real and scale, especially 1/43.
Dave Roxin.
Has anyone noticed how many women figures on Spankybirds layout have a leg out to catch a ride?
Buckeye – What are you trying to say, that the women with good looking legs are trying to leave town [?]
Dave, I bought that car around 1997 or so. Here are a few more pics of it

That lady standing outside the trailer on highrailjon’s layout. All I can do is quote what is printed on my Moosehead Ale T-Shirt, “What A Rack!”
May Dear Old Santa leave you what you want most under the Christmas tree Saturday morning. Merry Christmas everyone.
