Looking to make a spark arrestor for my bachman 4-6-0… What should I use? I was thinking about using metal screen or somthing and painting it black [%-)]
You need one of those horrible tea ball mashers that are so popular in the US… Cut out the required section of stainless steel mesh and fit!!!

Ooo I hadnt thought of that! I will have to raid the kitchen when I get off work in the morning I’m pretty sure we have one of those [}:)]
Don’t forget to buy a new one for your parrent, so they don’t get too mad that you just cut up their kitchen utensils.
