I thought this would be a good idea, although some of my thinking has gotten me in trouble.
Whenever you see a special locomotive ( special paint scheme, rare locomotive, etc), special train (circus train, any once in a life time viewing etc.), or well, anything special, report it here so other people in the area can run out to see it or know that it is own it’s way. I don’t know, I was a good idea at the time…

I’m sorry, just let this thread fall through the cracks. I have posted on that thread before, but I wanted this to be different. That thread, from what I understand, was for things people have seen recently (past day or so). I wanted this thread to be for something you saw maybe an hour or so ago to let people know it was in the neighborhood.
Oh, It sounded like the same type thread. If this thread is to serve another purpose then by all means go for it. Just trying to cut down on duplicate threads.[;)]

BNSF Pumkin Orange Loco on CSX in Dunkirk NY
DRGW painted SD 40-2 leads the rock train (often 6 units,100 cars) from Dell Rapids , SD to
Sioux City, IA over the falls at Sioux Falls, SD three times each week.
Monday most days and back the next day trailing on ex CMStP.
There were two in DRGW paint until one got a paint job
for DI Railroad this summer. The survivor is going soon.
The DRGW paint was from the movie “Switchback”.
8am to 9:30am at Sioux Falls outbound, 3:30pm and later on
the return days.
