Special coast-to-coast art train to run in September
I guess they don’t want any support from people in the South.
I short visit to their web link told me I am either not high enough or not artsy-fartsy enough to get enthralled with this train.
Dc was excluded due to the ongoing earthquake repair work. The south was excluded because there are virtually no stations to visit outside if TX, Memphis or NOL.

To Mr. Reid, however, let me point out that it’s also not going to the northwest. Not Seattle or Portland, nor even Salt Lake City or Denver.
Will the LA to Oakland leg go the the San Joaquin Valley or up the coast route (hoping for the latter)? Didn’t see details on the web site.

Looks like it is traveling via BNSF thru the west so probably up San Joaquin from LA to Oakland
