Unusual catch, Joe!
Couple of questions, though:
Who is its owner? (poss: the B&O Museum?) I’m guessing it’s on a CSX train??
Is traveling to a special occasion show??
THANKS FOR SHARING THE PHOTO,-- JUST WISH IT WAS A LITTLE LARGER, THOUGH–.
FOR US OLD FOLKS TO SEE BETTER![8D]

As far as I know, it’s still owned by CSX. Joe indicated to me that it was on a rail train going through Defiance.
This, and a number of other specially-painted cabooses and locomotives, were done by volunteers coordinated by my friend Dwight Jones, who’s also a noted photographer and caboose historian. I’m proud to have edited a number of his books on cabooses of the B&O, C&O, DT&I, and now L&N.
I saw a full page view of that caboose somewhere on here today…just don’t remember which post…Take a look around the page…It’s a good photo.
Wrong…! Correction…Joe sent me a pic. of it and it reproduced almost full page. Sorry.
Joe the only place you want that is in your back yard. and if they throw a engine in you love that to…LOL
well if the track gang wants to throw in some track, the tie gang some ties,Csx some ballast There is a nice place where the depot once stood here in defiance.I lived 3 houses from the depot(on the southside of the tracks). So yeah it would be in my old backyard.
