Love steam but this was a terrific sight…seeing what arguably is or was the best and inspiring paint scheme ever on a diesel…and the sound and the feel of it all and the…well, you get the idea.
Great looking engines and cars. Great sound too. Wish my layout was big enough to warrant a passenger train. I’m stuck with 18" radius curves becuase of space limitations.

Looks good. It’s nice to see EMD F-7 sets in as in service with railroad modifications rather as built. This looks really nice in GN decor.

I have all the cars, but the locomotives are still to come. I noticed in the video that the Fs have a wide green stripe, while all all the cars have a narrow stripe. My references all show a wide stripe on all the cars. Did Walthers goof? Dennis Finegan, mathman47@comcast.net

Great! Thank you for including the run by with the name of each car as it comes into view. I have an A-B set of these engines and they are really nice. As has been said on the Great Northern Yahoo list, the orange seems a bit too dark (or red). But the units are great with the QSI sound. Thanks, Rob

Kudos to Walthers for an outstanding job on this train! This is also one of your best review videos to date! Would be cool if you could run this train with the room lights out, to see the car lighting effects first hand.
Great consist, fantastic model, pity though that it’s not in N gauge. Ah well, next time perhaps. The video presentation was good as well, maybe just one high speed pass would have been an added bonus.

Nice video. Love the sound of the F-7 and the rotating headlight. Good to see a full passanger train rolling on screen. Great job.
