i was told there was gonna be a train of all passenger equipment go through tonite around 10 at emporia i live west of emporia so i might come by around 9 so does anybody have any info on this???

well i saw it go through last night at 1 minute til 10, i was sittin at strong city near the depot. It had 3 amtrak engines for power and 18 business cars of lots of different railroads, it was pretty cool. My source of info The guys in my model train club
Definetly sounds like what you caught was the private rail car owners special that they ran with Amtrak and has been all over the country over the past two weeks or so. It came through here and pictures were posted on www.railpictures.net
