I would like to replace my HO scale Spectrum 2-10-2 factory cab with one made by PSC in either plastic or brass. Has anyone ever removed one of the factory cabs before, if so are there some easy procedures?
I replaced one not too long ago…IIRC it just snaps in place, I don’t think there are any screws holding it on?? I’ll take a look next time I’m downstairs. (Actually, I might be thinking of the 2-10-0, not sure on the 2-10-2 although I do have one of them around somewhere too; I don’t think I unpacked after the recent move yet.)
