Speedwitch going out of business?

I went to Speedwitches site and almost every model is not available. I go to Ebay and they pulled are thier stuff from there too.

Anybody know what going on? I really enjoy thier kits.

I had never heard of this outfit so I Googled it. They’ve got some interesting products but at the price they are charging I hope they are gold plated.

I ran into several items that are listed as temporarily unavailable and others that are not currently available but most of their offerings appear to be available for direct order.

Speedwitch owner Ted Culotta relies on outside suppliers for his castings and parts, so availability is dependent on the casters’ schedules. The kits tend to become available again in batches.

I had to hold off on buying a number of cars I wanted from Speedwitch a couple years ago due to conserving money against potential layoff and in the mean time, they’d gone out of stock. I was able to get them in their second run this summer.

Speedwitch’s kits are extremely nice and very well-documented.
