The grand interurban terminal is long gone. There is one remnant to the South Of Indianapolis that my be worth a trip …just Google Southern Indiana Railroad…there’s a couple of websites to explore.

The former Big Four Bridge that the Interstate and later Indiana RR used to cross into Louisville is a huge steel monstrosity straddling and spanning an appreciable distance with both approaches long since removed. I have seen it many a time passing through and the first time was fairly dramatic, it loomed out of the ground fog like a ghost of some long vanished world.
