I have very few steam locomotives due to I model the early 70’s for the most part. So I splurged and bought a 4-6-2 Pacific to play with. The ordering from Train World was easy and the processing was quick even with the holidays. The original box was a little worn and there was no instructions in the box but for what I paid no worries. It did come packed in a lot of peanuts and they had some catalog sheets included. Not a bad first time dealing with them experience.

One FYI, some Bachmann locomotive boxes have a false bottom with the instruction sheet underneath. If yours is a Bachmann, you might check.

I thought it was crazy but I bought a Mehano HO Union Pacific 4-6-2 Pacific for $29.95. Runs great, real quiet and super cheap. But as a play toy for fun why not.
