Sports Scenes on Layout

Does anyone know of a company that produce items for sports scenes. I know figures are available, but I am looking for fences, backstops, bleachers, ect in HO Scale. Any Info much appreciated.

I’m not aware of anything but the figures being available off-the-shelf. However, chain-link fencing is avaiable. It should be easy enough to make the rest out of scratch-building components (such as stripwood, styrene, metal rods, etc.). I would think fiberglass window screen would also make a decent chain-link fence.

I think Prieser and Faller make some sports related stuff.

GO Boston Bruins / @%#$ Yeah

Sorry about that off topic posting, but still, GO BOSTON BRUINS

I think Model Railroader or the Walthers Catalogran photos and an article a few years back showing the Atlas Lumber kits used as bleachers

I’d love to do a scene from Nashville. The Titans’ stadium is visible from the tracks. Of course, don’t forget the skyline, Union Station, and the Exxon convenience store!([:p])

Check out Walthers. There are horse races, tennis courts, a soccer field to name a few. I plan to modify the soccer field to do a high school football game on my layout.

Not proffesional but these guys are having a lot of fun

was thinking of adding womens jello wrestling to my layout

Now that loks like fun, nice work, brings back memories,

I did the scenics for this ‘layout in a shoe-box’, which features HO skiers from Preiser.

The whole layout is only about 15" by 13" and fits into a cardboard boot box - it works too. Construction shots of the layout can be found here

I don’t even have them on my TV, far less my layout. However, I did enjoy looking at your layout photos.

Any Idea on where/way to find dimensions for a sports arena/stadium? This could become a potentialy overwhelming scratchbuiliding project.

Better have a BIG-G-G basement, nick, if you plan on doing a scale version of a complete baseball or football stadium. It would be huge!! Parking lot alone could cover most of one wall…[:-^][:-^]

I was thinking of including the parking as part of the backdrop. It probally take a lot of work to get right, but I think it could be done. What do you think?

Thanks all for Info. Anyone interested in topic see later post.
