Spring Cleaning at the Cedar Branch & Western

A stop at one of the local thrift stores ended with a purchase of an almost new set of nut & bolt sorting drawers. That purchase was the catalyst for a two day whirl wind spring clean up of my work bench and parts inventory. I was getting so tired of searching for pieces every time I tried to fix something. There were engines and cars lined up for repair and no motivation on my part due to my own disorganization.

Well, I now longer have that excuse. The parts cabinets are in place, everything is sorted and labeled, the tools are in easy reach, the bench is clean, the test track is operational, and the fun can begin anew!

And, yes, those are my shoes in the lower right corner of the last photo. It is the “hillbilly” line, after all! [:P]

Great job! It is so neat and organised.[bow] Hopefully it will stay that way[;)]

Now, if I could get my desks to look like that. The one for school has piles of paperwork, and the one in my room has a bunch of stuff on it. Eventually I will get around to cleaning them off.

Please don’t let the Lion see all this tidiness, it may give him kittens… [:-^]
Very nice and tidy [tup]

Cheers, the Bear.[:)]

Looks great, wish my bench looked that good.

Looks very nice. Comfortable even. The hobby is more enjoyable in pleasant surroundings.

Because I’m nosy, I have to ask. How did you manage to aquire so many different locomotives? And are all of those on the repair track? If so, I can certainly imagine why you have this issue with procrastination in so far as getting started on the job.
