Steam whistles echoing throughout the valleys of central Pa. on a crisp springtime morning. Can’t get any better than that.
Wish they whould send her south to Birmingham for a trip or two.
I’m with Thomas Cooke on that, especially with the 765’s husky, full-throated whistle echoing through the Juniata Valley.
What about Virginia for a trip or two?
They could always fill the coaches for some one-way trips, with a return by bus.
Why isn t any of this within The State of Indiana where this ALCO,Lima what ever is it based?
Am hoping to see it go through Salem, Ohio on May 13th or May 30th.
