Spring Mills Depot order time frame

i pre-ordered from Spring Mills Depot an HO B&O I5 caboose. This was a pre order I placed about this time last year. I knew it would be a long time, about 6 months ago I contacted them and they reassured me all was good and then they cashed my check.

So I am coming up on a year, is this a normal amount of time for a pre-order to take? Do I just need to continue to be patient?

With Spring Mills Depot - yes, be patient, they will deliver, and the models are superb.

I have the I-12 cabooses from them, and my shipment of covered hoppers should be shipping right now, they do great work. The hoppers took over a year.

But they are very small and it takes a while.

I have to say they are ecsquisite looking cabooses; sometimes I wish I had an excuse to buy some but with very limited budget and a “west of Denver” focus, I’ll enjoy them from afar.

I have a pre-order reservation for some TrueLine Trains NYC cabooses. I think we’re going on 3+ years now since the first announcement. The last that I heard was end of the year but I’m still willing to wait. No funds have yet to be deducted.

I agree. I’d rather have something right than something fast…
