Can I use squadron white putty on wood? I have used it on plastic but never for wood. Does it shrink alot?
Not sure just how good a bond you would get on wood. I use the Minwax putty, comes in a small tube. Comes in a few colors, acts like Bondo, good bond and sands well. I use it professionally for cabinet and trim work, but should work for RR modeling purposes. For skimming large areas any of the lightweight spakles should also work. I find M&H spakle to be one of the best.
