Hi guys

How many of you have these sometimes annoying wagons with a military theme and don’t use them because they are toys!! even though some of the wagons would be quite good if it wasn’t for that military theme[V]

You will not ditch them because your parents bought them for you all those years ago as a gift

I wondered about this looking at the new Hornby web site with its New WD wagons and after seeing an old set on EBay that has a military theme

Well I have no idea what that kind of place looks like and wondered about how these relics of child hood that have sentimental value could be worked into a model railroad in a convincing way with an extra siding that is just for them and shared perhaps with your own children.

Or when the now grandparents visit you can say Mum remember this I still have it[swg]

How would you deal with it work it in some how or relegate it to a shelf out of sight only to be used when no one is looking

HELLO JOHN, YOU COULD HAVE A MILITARY DEPOT WITH SIDING AND PARKING AREA’S FOR TRUCKS, TANKS ETC. WITH LOADING RAMPS PLUS WAREHOUSING. THERE WAS AN ARTICLE IN CLASSIC TOY TRAINS MAG. A FEW YEARS AGO THAT HAD APROPOSED LAYOUT IN 3 RAIL 0 GAUGE THAT INCLUDED WEAPONS BUNKERS, AIRPORT, MARINE BASE AND A NUCLEAR POWER STATION. THERE’S A FEW IDEAS. HOPE I HELPED YOU. PAULCAP
