No real layout plan, I’m just building.
Of course I had to build a gate!

I envy your carpentry skills, and the available space, in that order. [:)]
Looking forward to the future updates.
2 X 4 benchwork, overdesign, but take no chances.
Is your house in a new construction area?..
I feel your pain, sleep good; if you can.
Actually it’s 34x66mm (1.3x 2.5 inches) pine finger jointed. it’s very light and strong and cheap!![:D]
Yes our house is new and there’s two more going up next door.
I like building the benchwork it’s the best part!!
Ken.
The space (9.5’x 12’) will have to do. I had 25’ x 17’ at our previous house. But I’ll do my best.
Ken.
I,m with you, plan as you go. That is how the prototypes do it. They pretend to have a plan, but they are changing it everytime there is a business change or depression or new industry.
I also liked the bench work part, but built all mine out of scrap lumber so it does not look as pretty.
Looking good! I look forward to seeing how that gate works when it’s done. I also have a hard time visualizing things on paper or a cad program. Sometimes you just have to start nailing some wood together and go from there.
Looks like a good start…keep us updated…Cox 47
Yeah I figure when the track reaches the wall I can go left, right or up?
I like a recent track plan out of MR mag so with a few tweaks and some staging I’ll make it fit.
Thanks for the comments, it has to be neat work or I’m in trouble[B)]
Ken.
Cool gate, I look forward to more
