Static Grass ?

I want to order up some cow field Static Grass. Nowhere can I find how many ounces per SQ. FT. to get. It comes in 1.8 ounce packs, but how far does that go? Thanks in advance.

Brent,

that stuff is really light in weight. A pack should give you about 10 sqft… Remember, though, that there is a loss figure of about 30 %, unless you are able to recycle it from your vac.

Thanks Ulrich. Yesterday I went out and bought four different kinds of field grass for my Cattle pastures. Today is hunt down a Fly swatter day.[(-D]

Where’d you order it from? I checked Woodland Scenics and I could only find one color of long (6.5mm) grass.

This place is about five miles from my house and they had tons of the stuff. They specialize in European Trains but a lot of things like grass can be used for North American trains. It’s a good size operation he’s got there.

This place is five miles from my house in the opposite direction and it is a large warehouse/ mailorder operation. Extremely well stocked with stuff.
