Kind of wondering what is happening with the EMD T4 1600-1608 demonstrators? Four of them are at Progressive Tacoma (1601, 1603, 1604 and 1608), others have been worked on and left but do not show up on any class 1’s roster. There’s is a spot for them with UP because there is a open set of numbers (3004-3011). Does CN have them or are they just stored?
One of them went by my house yesterday (6/22/20) on a westbound CN manifest train toward Durand, MI. It was lashed-up with a couple of ES44s. I didn’t catch the number. I have seen them regularly for the past few weeks.
