Its interesting to see that this will allow many of these individual lines of Rail America and G&W to physical connect. Will this give birth to mini-regionals?
Out west the P&W/W&P and CORP seemed to bypass Uncle Pete in Eugene. This was most obvious with the “termite train” which began with carloads of timber from a reload on the Columbia River which were spotted in Eugene either for UP/BNSF to then carry to Nubeiber, CA, or for CORP to carry on down to Roseberg, OR.
