What brand are those engines? Are they BLI blueline?
They were lucky to have a clear road to film this: a slow poke would have ruined it for them.
That whistle was awesome! I recognize it from the movie “The Unforgiven” with Clint Eastwood and Sierra Railway #3! Nice shot!
They’re both older BLI engines with QSI sound. The whistle is what came with the GN heavy mikado.
