I believe that the Mt. Washington Cog Railway opened in 1869, not 1896.
I believe it opened in 1869 and not 1896 as stated. Figure it is just a typo.

Too late for me. The past several years have killed the experience it was. impossible to make a resevation on a steam train. I’m one who is totally put off by the GREEN publicity which has ruined the joy of the ride. Go elsewhere where money isn’t the only goal. I’ll return when they really go green, drop the John Deere grasscutters, and statrt using Sierra Club zealots for fuel,as these goons have desroyed another historic treasure.
