Steam Smoker

I fear the smoker on my loco is burned out. Is this something that can be replaced without having to buy a new loco? It is an Lionel, Pennsylvania Flyer, O gauge engine. It uses liquid smoke. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe dumb question, but simple first check would be if the switch for the smoker is set to on and is there fluid in there? I know that this is simple, but it is the least expensive.

Now, you can get the smoke units replaced. Just take it to a service center and these things do go out once in a while. Replacements are not too expensive.

Thanks. Yep it had fluid and the switch was on. I’ll contact the closest service center.
