Steam to return to Cheat Bridge as part of Cass Railfan Weekend 2015
Although there were many “doom and gloom” predictions when the D&GVRR was awarded the operation of the Cass Scenic, at first glance there appears to be several new rail possibilities, this being one. If you check out the D&GVRR’s home page, you will see that they are advertising joint ticketing between their trains and those of Cass. Click on “choose a train” then on “Cass Scenic Railroad” from their homepage. They also mention that Spruce excursions will be held at least once a month associated with a special event at Spruce.
