I found this spot by total accident, and wanted to get a shot from there. Glad it was a cloudy day or else the sun would have ruined the shot. Enjoy!!

We had that happen - with paintballs. Unfortunately, a couple of passengers caught it whilst standing in the baggage car we use as an “open air” car. The shooter (attending a family picnic near the tracks) was later identified and, I think, charged.
When we used to have excursions on the Susquehanna over here, we were told to always close windows going through the town of Paterson, NJ. Nobody wanted to be responsible should we be attacked with any kind of objects. And it happened occasionally, one memorable time a guy stood trackside with what my friend described as a fire hose and blasted us. Good times, good times…
