Sadly, both locomotives are some distance from being ready. I wish they could lease one in the meantime. This is such a great museum and attendance is likely to suffer without steam.

Thanks for the post. The april date is almost my birthday its been over a year since I have been there. And I am 10 Min away. They have 2 steam engines under active repair a 0-6-0 and a B&M pacific.

Is there a chance of a steam engine running at DIESELtown this year?

I did not see a date for May. Does Steamtown not celebrate National Train Day? Maybe they can make a deal with Strasburg to have Thomas The Tank shipped there to provide at least some steam at “Steamtown”.
