Yesterday (Sunday 11-16), Stewart Hobbies held an open house. This was a unique opportunity to look inside the world of Stewart Hobbies as they do not conduct a public tour at this time. The owners and employees were very friendly and graciously shared and explained their activities with us model railroaders. Their products are very well done and it was nice to see them in their various stages of completion.
I was amazed at how compact the operation is, and how efficiently the floorspace is used. It was also great to see model railroaders coming some distance to SE Pennsylvania to share this experience.
I would like to thank the Stewart family for making us welcomed and would like to hear some of your thoughts.
