Strange forum glitch, need ideas.

Well, this is interesting.

Apparently I have lost the ability to respond to threads. When I try, I get a “403 Forbidden” message. I cannot even reply to this thread I just made.

I can edit this message. Weird. I can even edit the title.

Any ideas on what to try?

I have deleted all temporary files, internet cookies, logged out and back in again.

I also cannot access my private messages.

RESPONSE VIA EDIT: 07/DEC/2021 10:19 PM: Thanks for all the ideas. Removing the winky face from the signature seems to be the easiest to try. Now I need to figure out where that option is adjusted…

RESPONSE VIA EDIT: 08/DEC/2021 9:12 PM: Tin Can, I deleted my pictures thinking that was corrupt. It didn’t work. I tried all kinds of things with my signature, still no luck.

I do not mean to be a fear monger, or be morbid … but have you tried breathing onto a mirror and see if it steams up? I realize you can’t reply to this …

Today, my responses have shown up as gobbledy goop on the thread after I respond. The forum has a major hiccup today.

Add another goofy glitch to the current forum software platform. As evident by my post, I’m not having an issue posting to threads.

Amazon AWS is having issues that are affecting platforms nationwide.

Try responding to a post without adding embedded quote text. Particularly if that quote includes smiley-face emoticons. Even your signature block with the smiley-face might be tripping the error messsge.

My online finance sites are all wonky as well. No access to any accounts and the phone lines are jammed. Very strange.

You may have something there Robert. I was getting the 403 Forbidden message quite a few times on various threads before I gave up this morning.

I left out the video link and the emojis just a while ago and it went through fine.

Just went back to the recent post and added a video clip and that seemed to work fine.

Yeah, I was seeing some oddities yesterday, with whole albums in my photobucket account deleted, and, when I attempted to contact photobucket, to have the pictures restored, I got a message that my request couldn’t be delivered.
Today, photobucket is back to normal, with pictures restored.

Kevin; I don’t know if this is a related problem, but I cannot see any of the pictures you have been posting.

Hope you get your issues resolved quickly.
