yesterday i was listeneing on my scanner and heard the NECR crews saying something about shutting down the locomotives at milepost 5 or 6, just north of new london yard. today me and dad went railfanning in the same area, and within the tracks at AES thames, was the NECR train. i couldnt see if the locomotives were still on it. at the south end of AES thames, sat Providence & Worcester GP40 3003, appearantly shut down also or mabey just idiling. anyone else in the area listening on your scanners or railfanning in the area? Whats going on? i guess the NECR had a power failure.
