Suggest putting down your street, either Walthers, or using other material, such as driveway patch. Use an oiled string to leave room for flanges by pulling it up if your pouring a material. Run down the median, it’s easier on the car drivers.That doesn;t always work if your serving a buisness and need a spur. This also gives you a bigger radius. If you need to make a turn, follow prototype and cut a tunnel through a building. A loco can’t make that turn any better than a Semi can

I have always wanted to do some street running on my layout. Heres a few shots of real life street running, if it helps with ideas.


I suggest looking at street signs too. Including signs marking Weight Limits next to a BIG honkin engine.
