I just got a laser and I’m wondering if anyone out there could help in finding somewhere to get plans for structures so I can burn my own.
Cool…! Your own laser. Besides “Dr Evil”, how many people can say that…!?
The best source for plans I find is back issues of MR or RMC. I get these from the local train shop for $0.25 to $0.50 each. he always has hundreds from the 1950s to 1990s on hand.

Blueprints for many buildings are kept in the County Records Office. They’ll make you a print for a small fee.
I’d be happy to email you a few structure plans, if you burn one of each for me!
Beware of copyright “fair use” law.
It is okay to use published or otherwise copyrighted drawings to make parts or building “kits” for your own use. But only for your own personal use.
Distributing such items to others, is however, considered a violation of the copyright restrictions, even if you are not charging for them.

True… most of the plans in MR (at least the older ones) have a little statement right on them that states the magazine owner may make copies for his [sic] own use, but no commercial or other use is permitted. So unfortunately, you cannot create kits from those plans…
BTW, if you plan on going into business, I would buy several of your future competition’s kits to see how they work. FSM, Bar Mills, AMB come to mind.
