Stupid airbrush problem

I’m having a problem with my airbrush that I’m wondering if anyone has come up with a solution.

I have a badger 175 dual action brush that has a rubber finger pad on the air button. That little rubber pad doesn’t stay on the button. It keeps coming off at the most inopportune times. The little rubber pad makes a big difference in the precise control of the paint flow.

Any ideas?

CA cement or get a new airbrush.

CA is too brittle and won’t hold the dissimilar materials once the rubber starts to flex. Use contact cement, Goo or better yet, a rubber cement, Pliobond. The replacement rubber tips on a couple of my finish nailers always keep coming loose and popping off. I found that Pliobond has held them on the best. These things see cosiderable use on a daily basis.

Thanks, I’ll try it.
