Toy trains in the snow! Don’t worry about shorting out. This is the Lionel Lines G-gauge battery powered 2-8-2. Good engine, not very fast, but it leads a cute set nonetheless.
It comes with a composite gondola and three crates, two shown here.
And the caboose introduced with the first Lionel Large Scale trains in the 1980s.
And here’s the entire train rolling past the rooftops.
My new (to me) Williams 773 Hudson. Brand new in it’s box, but at least a couple years old because it’s pre-bachmann. Here’s a few more of my other locomotives
Wow, real nice. I just did some research and they are open. Very nice. Here’s what I found:
Other features include smoke and “True Blast II” whistle & bell, both of which work great… At 23" the loco and tender are scale length, but made to run on any manufacturer three rail O gauge track “031” or greater curves… Nice and powerful runner due to its smooth drive train employing an oversize can motor with flywheel. The spoked drive wheels and side rods are fun to watch in action, and the loco is a super good “puller” due to its traction tires.
Sorry, don’t look at this forum as much as the OGRR one. No, you aren’t seeing things, the spokes are open and I have to say this is one of my better choices in buying locomotives.
