Hello to everyone, just wondering after looking around online but could you guys recommend the best place to purchase printed backdrop scenes for my layout? I see a ton of different sellers but have no experience buying from anyone. Thanks!
I bought a 42”x 11’ “Blem” from Backdrop Warehouse and I couldn’t see any Blem. I’m planning to buy a second.
This is just sitting roughly in place back in 2016. I raised it and had to add a filler behind the trestle to fill the gap.
I attached the backdrop to two layered ½" foamboards (42"x11’) so it is light and easily moved. I took a close up picture and made the filler section with two of the pictures below.
I spliced two 11"x14" printed pictures together to fill the gap. I can’t see the seams at 3’.
I remove the backdrop when I’m working on my layout so I can’t take a current or final picture at this time.
I’m very happy with the backdrop and like I said I plan on buying a second this winter.

I’m beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.
Warning! DO NOT purchase from Backdrop warehouse. I had a problem with one of my orders from them 6 months ago. And they refused to refund my order.
I found a better place for backdrops, and happy with purchase from these guys.
The e. Of bay has a seller. Amandajane. Out or Europe. Huge backdrops at a great quality and low price. I have a couple and they are very well done. Worth the time to look. Wide range too.

I had very good luck with Backdrop Warehouse, when I ordered my backdrop they were in the process of moving from Salt Lake City to Colorado and the order was delayed. They refunded the Shipping cost to offset the delayed shipping.

I’ve considered them myself and am curious what your issue was. Details?
As I recall, they sent him a backdrop in St Louis and there was a big ugly piece of the arch in the photo which looked horrible. I would have been upset receiving such a backdrop as well, especially for the prices charged. IMO, the company deserves a bad ding for that one. I appreciate the reminder to steer clear of them.
Gotcha. Makes sense. Thanks!
The issue with Backdrop Warehouse stems from a dispute over a single backdrop, clearly marked specifically the St Louis Mo backdrop. It has two ugly chunk’s of metal that represents a partial section of the arch. It is clearly on the website though. (pic taken directly from Website) (There also now appears to be a disclosure directing the viewer to notice the “twin leaning towers”)
I think the dispute was about the owner’s atttiude when a complaint was registered. I wasn’t privy to the conversation of course. Others may have had no adverse experiences with the owner, so let judgment help you decide.
Here is the thread I created on my problem with backdrop warehouse.
