In April 2007 you ran a feature article on the BNSF Clovis Sub.
As so much has changed in the railroading industry in last 2 1/2 years since that article was published possibilily you would consider publishing a more current article of that BNSF sub since I am sure many things written in that 1st srticle no longer apply.
If, as I suspect, the editorial staff does NOT include roving reporters, why don’t you do the research, take a bunch of good photos and submit an article for publication, The worst thing you could get is a rejection slip - and it’s possible that the article might be purchased.
And even more will yet change on the Clovis sub as work on Abo Canyon continues along for the next copule of years. Once that project is done we can review “how they did it” and then see how things have changed. Meanwhile, there are lots of developments in railroading to cover.Best, Jim
I agree with Chuck - It’s actually pretty simple to get your article into Trains. I’ve been published there once before (“>> No plane? Try this” on page 55, August 2009) and all I had to do was submit the article and work with the editorial staff to get the article to the right size. Photos were easy too, using the http://contribute.kalmbach.com/ upload page.
