Last Friday my first Lionel was put to work at the museum. All in all it saw about an hour and a half of run time, in 15 to 20 min increments.

Doug, my first train, a Lionel 202 UP ALCO is long given up. But I still have the frame and shell I painted as a kid now cleaned up and ready for paint again… [;)]
But I do love the Wabash 2339 I got this year.

Hornby Meccano.
Hornby prewar. I have 3 of the white roof coaches and the red one has a latch coupler so I can run them with the Marx CV.
Here’s one you probably never heard of.
And I only finally learned who made it just a few days ago.
The name of the company is Beckh.
The only clues I ever had was this logo on the side of the cab and the fact that the cars were marked “MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY”. Thanks to an alert clockwork collector I at least now know the name of the manufacturer and a rough idea of when it was made. By the way, this loco like all those I posted pics of today (except the Hornby) were total rust buckets that I brought back from the dead. Now I just have to learn more about Beckh.
