Seayak - Looks like that local is headed to a Super Bowl party. [8D]

LOL, I would guess that the folks during Super Bowl week will go through a few car loads of brew and salsa.

Bill, What flavor of smoke fluid do you use in the “Smoking SalsaTankcar”?

Greetings folks.

A little tinplate is always good for the soul.

There has been lot of activity down at the station lately. Seems that there are lots of folks coming to town to enjoy the winter festivities and go skiing at Granit Peak. All kinds of varnish from a number of eras has been pressed into service to handle the traffic.

There was even a rumor that folks south of the MD line were coming north to enjoy our good weather. I’ve wondered what they have in all of those extra carry-ons they are bringing along. The station agent said something about grits?

That American Flyer tinplate station looks terrifc.

Great pictures everyone

Good afternoon,

Great pictures as usual guys.

Well the car exchange has come to an end here. Both fife’s Chessie box car and my LNE box car arrived on the interchange track on the 27th. I hope to get the Chessie car on it’s way tomorrow. Here are a few pics as they were picked up by a freight pulled by double headed PRR decapods.

jefelctric - What a journey, this past year. Those stock pens look great.

John Amato —> [#welcome]. Handsome station.

Is it A-mah-to or A-may-to? Some of these guys have trouble. [D)]

Thanks for the welcome.

It’s A-mah-tow, but you can say it any way you like.

John

Greg,

I LOVE the look of that AF tinplate!!!

The littlest princess has prepared a “Tips & Techniques” class for all of you. So please take your seats and put on your thinking caps.

Picked up a few bunches of these fall floral thingies from Michael’s. Once at home, you can cut off the “tree” armatures from the big green leafy thingies. You should have 5 trees from one bunch.

We used an old bottle of Polly S “Dirt”. It smells a lot like the paint we use in art. Apply one coat to cover all the light green trunks and branches.

Mix up the colors to keep things interesting. Before you know it, you have a whole forest.

Daddy said I saved him a lot of money on hoydee-toydee Woodland Scenics trees. Good…I want a pony.

Fife - trees are lookin good! Didn’t know it had been so long since I’ve been over to the house…

88 - Yes. We must correct that sometime soon. [;)]

A big WELCOME. Visit the Coffee Pot and chat with us. We like to get to know new folks. Keep up the good work.

JOHN AMATO, [#welcome] GREAT LOOKIN STATION, is it scratch built. If it is WOW!!!

Here’s one I think I forgot about?
