Have fun

Jim

Nice photos Jim! Are they still working on that house?

Just a couple more this week. I added a light inside the house.

Lionel Docksider with TMCC…Why the bent piping? Don’t ask, it makes my blood boil.

Good Morning All:

I had to send my Legacy unit back to Lionel this weekend due to the dreaded “Base not Found” issue. So, I spent some time playing with my camera:

Work continues on this small layout.

And we got to play with this at the museum

Greetings folks,

Steam power is very much alive on the Blue Board Central Division of American Flyer Lines.

And folks still set their watches by the arrival and departure of passenger trains.

Have a great Sunday.

Great pictures so far guys!

I got a new to me boilerfront and lamp socket for my 2020 Turbine last week. I got to see what it looks like with the front lit up for the first time.’

Here’s a picture of the other end of the train.

Have a great week everyone!

Nice photos all. I like that turbine being tuned up! I finally got the credit card back at or almost zero so I could put a little more on one. I’ve been wanting this one particular Miller Engineering sign for awhile. This is my first one… The forum seemed to take the short .mov from the digital camera.

Have a great week.

Working on detailing scenes this week:

This fellow needs more firewood for the long winter:

Switch & Block Markers. This is switch #4 which is the crossover into block #4 on mainline “B”:

Going to overwelm everyone with Engine house pictures, Sorry. But couldn’t decide which ones to delete.

Engine Yard –

Caboose pass through, not typical but it works. Each track on seperate switch, the Daylight has to head in first so it doesn’t set idling all the time. (cars will pick up power from mainline.)

I extended the barn 25% to accommodate the the big engines. The stacks are not permanetly down yet so they may be tipping.

Just for a perspective of what will fit and what wont -

RK Big Boy - no problem

Legacy BB, Just barely as long as the rear coupler is closed.

Lionel Cab Fwd, No problem 3/8" clearance.

Yard end

Great bumpers Don. I had to make my engine house only three units deep, looks lik eyou found my lost section to make yours five.

This fellow is doing some salvage work on these rusty couplers out behind the engine house:

Nice. Your trees and backdrop are excellent.

Don: That’s a great idea on the caboose pass thru!

John: Your scenery turned out great!

Frank:

Thanks for the nice comment. I still only have a limited area scenicked but I am actually making progress. I really like seeing your pictures because I you have a great attention to detail. Your excellent work is a beehive of great ideas.

Regards,

John

All the pictures are great, finally some NYC and I love those old F3s.

Track crew out and about,

Watchout for the big freights coming thru,

30 cars of hot freight, and a K-Line/Lionel semi-scale Southern on the lower level

errr, let me re-phrase that last comment. “fast freight” not hot. [:D]

Here’s some photos of out layout, never posted any before, see if they work

Hey, it worked. It’s a 4x8, pretty kid friendly. I’m sure the table itself is the best part. It was made by my Father and I (mostly him). Some fastrack with a loop of 0-42 on the outside with a relay so you can run 2 trains at once. Put in doorbell buttons for the accesories. 2 CW80’s and one 40Watt for the lights. The buildings are Ertl Farm Country. We are tractor fans as well.

I enjoy seeing all the other great layouts! Thanks
